Workshop demonstration & machine selection
Tube Laser Cutting: Plan a Sample-Part Review
A tube laser demonstration is most useful when it answers a question about your own parts. Start with the stock profile and drawing, then compare how the proposed machine holds, rotates, cuts, and unloads that part.

See tube cutting up close
This close-up shows tube held in a chuck, the cutting head working around the profile, and the cut end as the process finishes.
Process demonstration; the model, material grade, thickness, and operating settings are not verified for this clip. Request a sample matched to your drawing and the machine being quoted.

Turn the demonstration into a buying checklist
Step 1
Define the stock and finished part
Send a drawing with the material grade, round outside diameter or rectangular section dimensions, wall thickness, incoming bar length, and finished-part length. Include holes, slots, and bevels rather than relying on a photograph alone.
Step 2
Review handling as well as cutting
Ask to see stock loading, chuck support, repositioning where required, and part removal. Compare the loading method shown in the catalog with the staffing and batch sizes at your shop. For bent parts, confirm that the proposed machine can access the required geometry.
Step 3
Agree what makes a sample acceptable
Use the drawing to define the dimensions and features to inspect. Record burrs, edge condition, hole shape, bevel fit-up, and the next welding or assembly operation. A catalog motion-accuracy figure is not a measured tolerance for your finished part.
Step 4
Request a repeatable demonstration
Ask the supplier to identify the machine and configuration used, record the cutting settings, and repeat representative parts. Compare complete processing time, including handling and changeovers, instead of timing only one cut.
Compare configurations from the current catalog
These descriptions and laser-power options come from the linked product pages. Confirm the exact working range, options, and supplied equipment on your quotation.
| Model | Catalog configuration | Laser-power options |
|---|---|---|
| D12L plus semi-automatic | D12L plus semi-automatic laser tube cutting machine | 1.5, 2, 3 kW |
| D12L plus fully automatic | D12L plus fully automatic laser tube cutting machine | 1.5, 2, 3 kW |
| B12 | 3D Five-Axis Laser Tube Cutting Machine | 1.5–3 kW |
Bring these details to your quotation review
Share representative drawings, stock dimensions and material, the required daily output, and your installation ZIP code. Ask the quotation to state the machine configuration, handling equipment, utilities, training, service scope, and sample acceptance process separately.
